The Deal Score

Every product and service on IsItGoodDeal receives a Deal Score from 0 to 10. This score answers one question: is this a good deal for your money?

The Deal Score is not a quality score or a feature score. A product can be excellent and still score low if it's overpriced relative to what you get. Conversely, a simpler product can score high if it delivers solid value at a fair price.

What We Evaluate

Our scoring considers four factors:

Our Research Process

For each verdict, we:

  1. Read user reviews across multiple platforms (Reddit, Trustpilot, G2, industry forums, social media)
  2. Analyze the product's pricing structure, including any hidden costs or lock-in tactics
  3. Compare features and pricing against direct competitors
  4. Synthesize findings into a verdict with specific pros, cons, and use-case recommendations

We prioritize volume and diversity of user feedback. A handful of 5-star reviews doesn't tell us much. Hundreds of reviews across multiple platforms revealing consistent patterns — that's signal.
